10000 kms

Hey here's something worth a mention... I've successfully completed 10,000 kms on the car in just 8 months... Average of over 1000 km a month.
Obviously, a large chunk of it would be commuting b/w my office & home ;)

My Car

I was not sure if i would wanted a Maruti 800 because its small, not somthing that one can showoff... isnt it?
But looking at the condition of the car and the price, i was tempted to go for it...
There it was... May 31 2009... it was a day when i would buy my first car... a Maruti 800 that was with a person whom my family knew for some time...
Though i paid the money, i wasnt thorough with the driving skills, so the lay in a remote place for 7 days when i went for a refresher course for three days shelling out 1000 bucks.
On 9 Jun, i was still not sure if i could drive the car, but still wanted to pick it from the place. So i called one of our office car drivers, Raju to be with me while i drove it. Decided to take the ring road from Koramangala, to my office at Mahadevapura, its about 15kms, but i wanted to drive more, so went towards Sarjapura and then go to whitefiled and then office. believe me, I successful in driving the whole way... ofcourse Raju helped me a lot in driving and got a 'Khamba' for it.

I took the car home only on 12th June. This was one day when i deliberately delayed in leaving from office.
